Request account deletion
This page explains how users can delete or request deletion of an Aestory app account and the data associated with that account.

If you can access the app, you may delete the account from the authenticated account or settings area when this option is available in your app version. If you cannot access the app, write from the email address linked to your Aestory account when possible, or include the sign-in method you used, such as email/password or Yandex sign-in.
Steps
- Use the account deletion option in the app settings when it is available and you are signed in.
- Email privacy@aestory.space to request deletion outside the app, including if you cannot access the app or have already uninstalled it.
- Include your account email or the Yandex account information used for sign-in, and write that you want to delete your Aestory account.
- Aestory may ask for information needed to verify that the request comes from the account holder before completing deletion.
Data deleted with the account
When an Aestory account is deleted, Aestory closes the backend account and deletes or de-identifies associated authentication data, including email authentication records, Yandex sign-in identity data stored by Aestory, active sessions, refresh tokens, and active account entitlement links. The same email address or provider identity may be used to create a new account after deletion.
Local workspace data stored on the user's device, such as patient cards, notes, photos, videos, 3D files, reminders, local exports, and local backups, must be deleted by the user in the app, through device storage controls, or wherever the user saved or shared those files.
Data that may be retained
Aestory may retain limited records where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, accounting, or enforcing agreements. Retained records may include audit events, server logs, subscription or entitlement history, and records needed to prove that a deletion request was handled.
Data retained for these reasons is kept only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose and is handled according to the Aestory Privacy Policy.
Partial data deletion
Users may also contact privacy@aestory.space to request deletion, correction, access, restriction, or other actions for specific backend data without deleting the entire account, where available under applicable law.
